Many make common mistakes on resumes

Dahn Yoga basics can help one unite their body and mind, and become a fuller person, and the idea of harmony is also essential when constructing a resume.

U.S. News and World Report recently published an article about some of the ways that job seekers can make sure their resume stands above the rest.

One of the most common mistakes on resumes, according to the news source, is leaving out volunteer work. While this work may have been uncompensated, by omitting it from one's resume a job applicant is missing an opportunity to show the hiring manager what sort of self healing he or she may have accomplished by helping the less fortunate.

In addition, another common mistake that people make is feeling the need to list every position they have ever held, regardless of whether or not it is relevant to the job for which they are applying, according to the news provider.

By keeping one's resume focused and relevant to hiring managers, a job applicant can put themselves in the best position to be hired, and thus become a more harmonious person.
