Good health is among the main goals of the practice of Dahn Yoga, which has benefited individuals all over the world. The regimen is known for helping practitioners achieve relaxation, inner peace and mindfulness.
In light of the recent earthquake that devastated Japan, Dahn Yoga and Health Centers is extending its condolences to those who were affected by the natural disaster. The event triggered a deadly tsunami, caused power outages and massive damage, and is considered to be the worst earthquake to hit the island nation in at least a century.
Many citizens were forced to evacuate their homes due to the threat of radiation from nuclear plants, while others suffer from shortages of food, water, shelter and fuel.
In order to help out, Dahn Yoga and Health Centers will be donating $2 from every new membership begun between March 22 and April 22. The funds will go directly to Red Cross emergency relief efforts in Japan.
The organization is urging its members to contribute what they can to helping families who were affected by the earthquake. Those who are new to the exercise may wish to consider joining at this time, not only to achieve their own good health but to contribute to relief efforts for the earthquake victims.
