- Introductory program: Ready for Awakening
This introductory Course offers a unique opportunity to experience the essence of Dahn Yoga, the modernized version of the authentic mind/body training of ancient Korea. This program is designed to familiarize the practitioner with the general approach of Dahn Yoga, and to help him/her get a deeper understanding of holistic health, which includes the integrative awakening of body, mind and spirit. - Initial Awakening
A program of introduction of Dahn Yoga, to familiarize the participant with its general principles and practices. The benefits of this program would be, waking up to the presence of our body, the conscious and purposeful use of one’s body and its functions, and the mastership over it: “My body is not Me, but Mine” - More than Body
Through the profound experiential understanding of Ki-energy, the participant will learn how to use the power and functions of one’s mind consciously and purposefully, experiencing the peaceful joy that comes with the freedom from the control of emotions. The result of this experience will bring the participant the mastership over one’s mind and the creator-ship of one’s life: “My Mind is not me, but Mine.” - Re-Integration
A program to awaken the spiritual body, and integrate the basic trinity: Heaven, Earth, and Human, into a holistic identity of the Self. The benefits of the program would be, a realization, experiential understanding and complete awareness of oneness with all that is; uncovering the deepest of meanings of life, and re-orienting oneself toward spiritual completion as one’s goal of life.

A one-hour regular Dahn Yoga class consists of the following three parts:
- Meridian Gym
Integrative stretching Dahn Yoga exercises based on the perfect coordination of: correct postures, breathing and conscious awareness. The exercises are designed to open the meridian channels and increase the energy flow that makes natural healing possible. It increases flexibility balance, and fitness; and you will also learn to release the negative energy caused by stress. - Meditative Breathing
Dahn Yoga meditation, which focus on breathing and ki-energy. Through the conscious control of your breath, you will learn how to eliminate the harmful effects of stress and negative emotions. You will boost your immune system and restore the natural healing power of your body. - Dynamic Meditation
A meditative dance, experienced by focusing on the free flow of vital energy, which is the medium between the mind/body connection. This practice will allow you to experience Ki-energy by lowering your brain waves, thus facilitating the state of transparent awareness, clear of negative emotions and troubling thoughts. This experience of being one with the flow of energy gives the practitioner a deeply fulfilling sensation of peace, joy, and inner freedom.

I was introduced to Dahn Yoga by accident. As a psychiatrist, I quickly recognized that this was not just an exercise program. It is a process that benefits your entire being.
Through the Dahn Yoga practice, you can discover a state of harmony with others in an environment that supports acceptance, tolerance and patience. You will uncover your strengths as well as your weakness in your personal search for the truth. You will begin to take responsibility for your actions with a willingness and desire to change habits that are not useful.
This form of exercise is gradual and gentle. Everyone in the program moves along with his/her pace and level of comfort. Among the practitioners, there is no competition or rivalry; just a sense of unity and heartfelt responses.
This is an enriching experience, irrespective of age, physical ability or meditation experience. The results of this practice are a sense of peace and harmony. As you proceed through the exercises, the limits of your abilities will be expanded beyond your present imagination.
The practitioners turn to healthier and more positive ways to interact with their family, friends and business associates. They find that their relationships become more stable and mature. As they begin to feel the Ki-energy flow in their bodies, they learn how to respect their own bodies. As their feeling of separateness begin to dissipate within the Dahn Yoga exercise group, they discover that the energies in the practice hall become one, filling the room with happiness, joy and peace. Their fears and apprehensions disappear in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.
At this point, the practitioners understand what it is like to have a desire to achieve in their lives and their relationships. Their lives begin to change. They take on a holistic approach to life, with a sense of well-being, happiness, joy and harmony.

Getting Started
The first step in beginning Dahn Yoga and Brain Education is to have a check-up of your present energy condition. During this Ki-energy check-up a certified instructor will assess your body balance, flexibility, breathing, and energy circulation. At the end of the session a suitable practice program will be recommended for you.
A Ki-energy check-up is recommended because what you need and what you think you need may be different. Your practice will be more successful when you know what you need. The check-up provides us with the information to get you started with a customized training that fits your needs and thus will bring the best results.
