Our mission at the Dahn Yoga is healing: healing body and soul, human society and the earth. Through the programs and services we provide, we work to create and share an example of Enlightened Leadership and partnership for healing the world as a whole and facilitating an Earth-Peace for the entire community of life on Earth.

We support the Declaration of Humanity which was ratified at the 1st Humanity Conference in June 2001. The Declaration of Humanity and the Dahn Center Mission Statement indicate clearly what we hold in value.  We strive to actualize the vows contained in these two documents through the Dahn Center member service, operation of the Dahn Center, community support, and in every aspect of our lives.

1. I declare that I am a Spiritual Being, an essential and eternal part of the Soul of Humanity, one and indivisible.

2. I declare that I am a Human Being whose rights and security ultimately depend on  assuring the human rights of all people of Earth.

3. I declare that I am a Child of the Earth, with the will and awareness to work for goals that benefit the entire community of life on Earth.

4. I declare that I am a Healer, with the power and purpose to heal the many forms of  divisions and conflicts that exist on Earth.

5. I declare that I am a Protector, with the knowledge and the responsibility to help the Earth  recover her natural harmony and beauty.

6. I declare that I am an Activist, with the commitment and the ability to make a  positive difference in my society.

The Declaration of Humanity is a brief document that emphasizes the earth, not nations or religions, as the highest common identification of humanity. The document also states the basic responsibilities of humanity toward humanity. It is an expression of our individual commitment to take action to help the earth recover her natural beauty and heal the many forms of conflict and divisions that exist on our planet.
