Dahnworld has entered into partnership with the Avon Foundation to be the official Yoga partner for the 2005 Avon Walks for Breast Cancer. The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a series of eight weekend fundraising events, offering participants a choice of walking the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) or a marathon and a half (39.3 miles) over the course of a weekend. Each walker commits to raising at least $1,800 to participate. On Saturday, participants will stay at the " Wellness Village ," their home away from home for the night. The Wellness Village features two-person sleeping tents, hot showers, prepared meals, comprehensive medical services, yoga classes and other special services. In seven of the eight cities, Dahnworld will offer 45-minute yoga classes every hour from 2:00 - 7:00 PM, BRQ sessions and discounts on membership for all Walk participants.

In 2003-2004, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer events attracted 23,000 participants from more than 40 states and Canada , who raised a total of over $60 million. The funds are awarded by the Avon Foundation for breast cancer medical research, clinical care, support services, education, and screening and diagnostics. From 1992 through 2004, the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade raised and awarded more than $350 million in 50 countries worldwide through a variety of programs and events.

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Avon Foundation in this important program and look forward to sharing the Dahnhak program with thousands of people across the country! For more information on the Avon Walks for Breast Cancer, visit www.avonwalk.org or call 877-WALK-AVON.
